Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application and permit conditions. Any violation of these terms may
subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to.the permit officer when the project is inspected for
compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that: 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this
permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the
local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement from the adjacent riparian property owner(s)
has been obtained, or proof of delivery of certified mail notification of the adjacent riparian property owner(s).
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

EXHIBIT A
All that certain lot or parcel of land lying and being situate in Number Five (#5)
Township, Craven County, North Carolina, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a now iron rod in the southern line of lot 4 and the northern line of lot 3 of the
"Soloman Fisher land", said point being further located North 88 degrees West 723.52 feet from
the common comers of lots 1,2,3 & 4 of the "Soloman Fisher Land", an old axle; mnning thence
from the beginning point south 2 degrees West 185.00 feet to a new iron rod; running thence 88
degrees West 206.97 feet to a new iron rod said iron being 14 feet more or less 8mm the edge of
marsh of Mitchell's creek; running thence North 15 degrees 06 minutes, 05 seconds West 193.56
feet to a new iron rod, this bearing and distance being a chord along the meanders of said creek;
running thence with the dividing fine between R Fisher heirs, lot 4, and Eva George lot 3, South
88 degrees East 5200 feet to an old 'iron pipe next to a stump hot% where an old line tree stood;

feet more or Iess to a point in the Northwest right-of-way line of S.R. 1712, a soil road, said point
being further located North 5 degrees 40 minutes 40 seconds Bast 190.25 feel more or less from a
point in the centerline of said S.R. 1712 and the center of a cunwete culvert, said culvert being
located 0.8 miles from the intersection of S.R. 1712 and SR. 1715.
It being the same property and right of way as shown and plotted on the map entitled Survey for
J0I4N JASPER BECTON, NO. 5 TIVO, CRAVEN CO - NORTH CAROLiNA, dated August
10, 1982, surveyed and plotted by James C, Simmons, Reg. Land Surveyor, which sold map was
attached and incorporated as a part of the deed recorded in Book 1008, Page 699 Craven County
Registry.
