or a person authorized to act as an agent for purposes of applying for a CAMA minor development permit, certify

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that the land owner is aware that the proposed development is planned for an area
which may be susceptible to erosion and/or flooding. I acknowledge that the Local Permit Officer has explained to
me the particular hazard problems associated with this lot. This explanation was accompanied by recommendations
concerning stabilization and floodproofing techniques.
I furthermore certify that I am authorized to grant, and do in fact grant, permission to Division of Coastal Management
staff, the Local Permit Officer and their agents to enter on the aforementioned lands in connection with evaluating

Good afternoon Phillip,
I was able to make it out to the property yesterday and everything is good to go with the 70' bulkhead replacement
(provided you do not interfere with the dry hydrant or its intake)and the replacement of the 20' x 12' section of the
existing boat ramp. All I need now is the application fee ($600). You can mail/drop off a check or money order to my
office (address listed below in my contact info). Please make the check payable to NCDEQ and please reference the
project address. Once I receive the payment in hand I will be able to issue you the permit.

Please see the attached application with letters and drawing. Note: the south bulkhead is on the right hand side of the
drawing (which includes the 20'-2" section of bulkhead and 49'-1" retaining wall), that is the area to be rebuilt. There is
a 20' section of boat ramp that will also need to be repaired or replaced. Please reply to let me know you received this
email and I have the correct address for you. Let me know if you have any questions or need anything else.
