HomeMy WebLinkAboutOIB_04-139_SheffieldOcean Isle Beach Local Government r,, 1 1': (' DECI 2004 OIB 04-139 CAMA permit Number D1L COASTAL DEVELOPMENT t'ERMIT as authorized by the State of North Carolina, Deparbnent of Environment, and Natural Resources and the Coastal Resources Commission for development in an area of environment concern pursuant to Section 113A-118 of the General Statues, "Coastal Area Management" Issued to John Sheffield, authorizing development in Estuarine Shoreline AEC at 57 Causeway Drive as requested in the permittee's application, dated December 6, 2004. This permit, issued on December 23, 2004, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject pennittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void. This permit authorizes the replacement of all fuel dispensers at forecourt and marina. Replace forecourt underground piping. Modify underground piping to marina by adding 3'"product line and encasing (2) existing flexible product lines inside GeoDuct conduit chase pipe. Erect new 30' x 50' overhead canopy above forecourt. Install containment sumps where absent, as shown on the site plan. MINOR PERMIT CONDITIONS FOR ESTUARINE SHORELINE AEC'S (1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat drawings(s) dated received December 6, 2004 _ (2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal regulations, applicable local ordinances and FEIVIA Flood Regulations. (3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re- evaluation and modification of this permit. (4) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective sedimentation and erosion control measures. (5) All disturbed areas shall be vegetatively planted and mulched within 30 days of construction completion. (6) No PORTION of house or covered deck9porches shall encroach into the thirty-foot buffer area from the mean high water mark. (7) Before the final inspection, the designing stormwater engineer must certify that the storrwater system was installed and inspected as per the designing engineers specifications (Ocean Isle Beach Town Ordinance) (8) Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, or otherwise disposed of to a third party. This permit action may be appealed by the perrnidee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this permit must cease until the appe,,!'/ is resolved. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the pernit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modification not covered under this permit, require further written permit approval. All work must cease when this permit expires on December 31, 2007 In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances.
