and Natural Resources and the Coastal Resources Commission for development
in an area of environment concern pursuant to Section 113A-118 of the
General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management'
Issued to Terry Turner, authorizing development In the Estuarine Shoreline - ORW (AEC) at lot 3 Waters Edge Drive at
Waters Edge in Deerfield Subdivision, in Pender County, as requested in the permittee's application, dated February 14,
2005. This permit renewal, issued on July 3.2008, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where
consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of
these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit renewal authorizes: Construction of a single-family residence, driveway, septic system and associated landscaping.
(1) All original permit conditions remain in effect. Any proposed change to the approved original plants for development,
construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit
(2) A copy of this permit renewal shall be attached to the original permit and shall be posted or available on site. Contact this
office for a final inspection at 259.1202 at the completion of work.
This peat action may be appealed by the perrtimee or other qualifiied persons
within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of an appeal, any
work conducted under this penny must cease until the appeal is resolved. This
peat must be on the project site and aomsible to the permit dficer when the
proiect is impeded for compliance. Any maintenance work or project
modification not covered order this peat, require further written permit
approval. All work must cease when this permit expires on:
DECEMBER 31, 2010
In issuing this peat E is agreed that this project i$ consistent with the local Land
Use Plan and all applicahie ordinances. This permit may not be transferred to
another party without the written approval of the Division of Coastal
Management.

Our office has received your written request for a renewal of the referenced CAMA Minor Permit for construction of a
single-family residence, driveway, septic system and associated landscaping. In accordance with the provisions of 15A
NCAC 07J .0404 (attached), your letter of request must be amended to include additional information. Accordingly, I am
requesting that you amend the letter to include the following:
1. A statement of the intention of the applicant to complete the work within a reasonable time;
2. A statement that there has been no change of plans since the issuance of the original permit other than
changes that would have the effect of reducing the scope of the project, or, previously approved permit
modifications;
3. Notice of any change in ownership of the property to be developed and a request for transfer of the permit
if appropriate; and
4. A statement that the project is in compliance with all conditions of the current permit.
Upon receipt of your amended letter of request, I will initiate the renewal in accordance with the applicable provisions.
