PROJECT LOCATION/ADDRESS — 318 Fulcher Landing Road, Sneads Ferry
Dear Mr. Bradshaw:
I have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning the necessary filing of an
application for a CAMA General Development Permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. After making a site
inspection on 12/9/21,1 have determined that the activity you propose is exempt from needing a CAMA General
Development Permit, provided it remains consistent with your project drawing, dated January 12, 2022, and it also
meets the conditions specified below. If you plans should change and your project will no longer meet these
conditions, please contact me before proceeding.
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES WITHIN THE ESTAURINE SHORELINE AEC EXEMPTED
1. This exemption authorizes the replacement of 92' of a total contiguous bulkhead of 398'.
2. No expansions or enlargements of any kind are authorized by this permit. All work must occur in the
original footprint, and in no case shall the proposed repair extend more than two (2') feet waterward.
3. No other work is authorized by this exemption letter.
4. The development shall be consistent with all other applicable CAMA permit standards, NC Building
Code standards, local ordinances, and local land use plans in effect at the time the exemption is
granted.
5. This exemption does not authorize the filling of any coastal wetlands or §404 wetlands.
This exemption to CAMA permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of your obtaining any other State,
Federal or Local authorization. Construction of the structure authorized by this exemption shall be completed by
December 31 of the third year of the issuance date of this exemption.
