Preferred oceanfront protection measures are beach
nourishment and relocation of threatened structures.
Hard erosion control structures such as bulkheads,
seawalls, revetmcnts, groins, jetties and breakwaters are
iirohibited. Temporary devices, including sand bags, may
be allowed under certain conditions.
