PERMIT
as authorized by the State of North Carolina, Department of Environment,
and Natural Resources and the Coastal Resources Commission for development
in an area of environment concern pursuant to Section 113A-118 of the
General Statues, "Coastal Area Management"
Issued to Drew and Gina Reeer, authorizing development in Estuarine Shoreline AEC at 53 Craven Street
(Lot 27, Block 13B, Section A & B) as requested in the permittee's application, dated March 19 2004. This
permit issued on April 12. 2004. is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where
consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any
violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to
be null and void.
This permit authorizes the construction of a swimming pool and decking. NO PORTION OF THE POOL MAY
ENCROACH INTO THE 30' BUFFER
MINOR PERMIT CONDITIONS FOR ESTUARINE SHORELINE AEC'S
(1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat
drawings(s) dated received March 19, 2004
(2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal
regulations, applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations.
(3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-
evaluation and modification of this permit.
(4) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by
effective sedimentation and erosion control measures.
(5) All disturbed areas shall be vegetatively planted and mulched within 30 days of construction completion.
(6) No PORTION of house or covered decks/Dorches shall encroach into the thirty-foot buffer area from the mean
high water mark.
(7) Before the final inspection, the designing stormwater engineer must certify that the stormwater system was
installed and inspected as per the designing engineers specifications (Ocean Isle Beach Town Ordinance)
(8) Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, or otherwise
disposed of to a third party.
This permit action may be appealed by the perittee or other qualified
persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of Local Permit Official (signature)
appeal, any work conducted under this permit must cease until the ap I

Any maintenance work or project modification not covered under this (�

gives NOTICE that on March 19, 2004, ap-
plicants Drew and Gina Reger, applied for
a CAMA minor development permit to
construct a new pool and spa in the rear of
their residence at 53 Craven Street, Lot 27,
Block 136, Section A&B.
The application may be inspected at the
below address. Public comments received
by April 2, 2004, will be considered. Later
comments will be accepted and considered
up to the time of permit decision. Project
modifications may occur based on further
review and comments. Notice of the permit
decision in this matter will be provided
upon written request.
