Area of Environmental Concern (AEC) at 1774 Bent Tree Trail SW in Ocean Isle Beach NC 28469 as requested in the
permittee's application package, dated 03-Sep-19, and received complete 03-Sep-19. This permit, issued on 17-Sep-19, is
subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and
special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or
civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit authorizes: 3'x222' Chain Fence with 4'x4' Wood Posts.
(1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat drawings(s)
dated received on 09-Sep-19.
(2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal regulations,
applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations.
(3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and
modification of this permit.
(4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at [phone] for a final inspection at
completion of work.

This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when
the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project
modification not covered under this permit, require further written permit
approval. All work must cease when this permit expires on:

Project —Clubhouse Fence
Bent Tree Homeowners Association is proposing to build a small chain fence line along the outer edge of
the clubhouse/pool area. The small chain fence would go along the marsh line starting at the property
mark with 1769 Harborage Drive and end at the pier. This distance is about 129 feet. The fence would
restart on the other side of the pier to the mark approximately 93 feet from the pier.
The fence would be completed with 4" x 4" wood posts sticking about 3 feet above the ground. A white
cap would go on top of the post. A continuous white chain would run from one end to the other,
meaning 2 chains.
The primary purpose of the fence would be to keep people out of the marsh area and define the
mowing lines around the clubhouse/pool area. The fence should not impede any wildlife around the
clubhouse/pool area.
It would look something like the picture below except with wooden posts and square wood posts
