Dear Ms. Carver,
This letter is with reference to Mr. Steve King's property at 141 Wildwood Drive, Manteo, North Carolina. Per your
email of February 4, 2022, I visited the site on February 8, 2022 and determined there has not been a drastic
shoreline change since our on -site visit late last year. Mr. King desires to extend the existing rock rip -rap along his
shoreline to the edge of the Phragmites marsh/normal waterline interface.
Enclosed please find:
• a map depicting the proposed alignment of the rip -rap extension;
• a copy of an email from Mr. Billy Standridge, Regulatory Specialist with the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers with an opinion of the shoreline wetland call;
• a photograph of the area in question 8/ 10/21;
• a photograph of the area in question 2/8/22;
• two signed property owner notifications/waiver forms; and
• a check payable to NCDEQ for $400.00 per guidelines pursuant to NCAC T15.07H .1100.
