subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for
compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that: 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this
permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the
local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement from the adjacent riparian property owner(s)
has been obtained, or proof of delivery of certified mail notification of the adjacent riparian property owner(s).
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

X Use the following NC Wildlife access area(s) on SPECIFIED DATE(S) for launching of
rowing shells for racing demonstration from 9-11 am. Permit holder may have boats and
trailer on site, and may install a temporary 10ft x 60ft floating dock next to the right hand
existing dock. Permit activities may not interfere with public use of the ramp and
temporary dock must be removed after the event is complete.

THIS PERMIT IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
• Please be aware that the access area parking is for vehicles with trailers only while
involved in boating activities.
• All litter or debris associated with this use will be picked up and removed from the area
immediately following use of this site.
• Any damages to the site resulting from this activity shall be fully repaired within 45 days of
the occurrence.
• This permit must be in possession and available during the special use listed above.
• The event organizer must possess a copy of this permit and make it available for
inspection on request by Commission personnel.
Notice:
FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THESE CONDITIONS WILL RESULT IN REVOCATION OF THIS
PERMIT.
INDEMNIFICATION
The permit holder assumes all liability and agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless
the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission except for the conduct of the North
Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission or any of its employees in the performance of the
permitted events.
