Re: Permit ft 20-18
To Whom it May Concern:
Permit q 20-18 was issued to Fulcher Point, LLC on March 9, 2018. This permit authorized the following
work to be completed:
'Removal of old pilings and railroad bed
*Construction of new vinyl bulkhead
'Excavation of the project area
'Construction of new docks and platform
Due to Covid, inclement weather and equipment failure project got a late start and had many delays.
We were unable to complete prior to expiration of permit q 20-18. However, listed below is where we
are currently at with the completion:
'Bulkhead construction is complete
'Excavation is 800 yards from completion
Contractor will be in the position to start building docks in several weeks.
We are requesting a release of permit condition stating no digging within the moratorium.
Dredging work could be completed with in 2 weeks.
Sincerely,

Kent,
The moratorium relief questionnaire indicated that a turbidity curtain could be
used. As long as a curtain is used and is left in place for at least 72 hours
following completion of the in -water work, DMF is amenable to granting the
requested relief This relief is being granted on the assumption that work will
begin as soon as possible, i.e., within the next few days, and will not take longer
than 2 weeks to complete. The applicant should notify myself and any necessary
DCM staff of when the work begins and when the work is completed. Thanks!
