is a subsequent determination that a permit was required for the

I am writing this to describe the job at Sanitary Restaurant and why we feel it is a repair.
Dock was damaged in the King Tide Winter Storm.
The entire job consists of 3 sections ( sides ).
The South side is 34 pilings, 34 girders, 136 joists and 2244SF of decking.
The East side is 18 pilings, 18 girders, 45 joists and 432 SF of decking.
The West side ( proposed repair area ) is 18 pilings, 18 girders, 45 joists and 432 SF of
decking.
As you see, the proposed West side repairs would not make up 50% of the overall job and
we therefore believe, based on the rules as we know them, that this should be a repair and
not need a permit.
Please advise.
