Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application and permit conditions. Any violation of these terms mdy
subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for
compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that: 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this
permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the
local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement from the adjacent riparian property owner(s)
has been obtained, or proof of delivery of certified mail notification of the adjacent riparian property owner(s).
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Dear Ms. MacPherson
I am applying for a Bulkhead General Permit for 24 & 25R2 Tanbark Court, owned by Mr. & Mrs Eric
Villamater. They will require appx 105 if of new bulkhead. This is intended to tie in on its east end
to the new section of bulkhead submitted for Mr. & Mrs. David Farr 27 Tanbark Court.
The Villamaters and the Farrs purchased Lot 25R1 in January 2022, Map Cabinet 134 Page 11, Deed
Book 4776, Page 556, and then split it so that the Villamaters got what original was lot 25, and the
Farrs got the west half of original lot 26. The Fans had previously purchased the east half of original
lot 26, and had combined that into lot 27 as lot 27R1. 27R2 is now what was originally all of lot 26 &
all of lot 27.
My check # 2162 for the $400 permit fee dated 4-22-22 is included.
The bulkhead will be along his south property lines along the escarpment toe per your direction/site
visit.
Construction of the Timber Bulkhead to be similar to what I engineered in 2009 for the 2010
replacement of 16/17a Windward Court (s).
