HomeMy WebLinkAboutNH_18-12_ DJMNEW HANOVER COUNTY Local Government Coastal Management ENVIR0MMCNTAL QUALITY 18.12 Permit Number CAMA MINOR DEVELOPMENT as authorized by the State of North Carolina, North Carolina Department of Environmental Quaitty and the Coastal Resources Commission for development In an area of environment concern pursuant to Section 113A-11e of the General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management" Issued to DJM-NC, LLC, authorizing development in the Estuarine Shoreline (AEC) at 1821 Buena Vista Circle, in Wilmington, NC, as requested in the permittee's application, dated March 6, 2018. This permit, issued on March 28, 2018, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), ail applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void. This permit authorizes: Demolition of existing single family structure (1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat drawings(s) dated received on March 6, 2018. (2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal regulations, applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations. (3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit. (4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at 798-7118 for a final inspection at completion of work. (6) Unless specifically allowed in 15A NCAC 07H. 0209(d)(10), and shown on the permitted plan drawing, all development/construction shall be located a distance of 30 feet landward of Normal High Water. No portion of the roof overhang shall encroach into the 30 ft- buffer. (7) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of fitter cloth must be installed between the land disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetative cover. (8) Any proposed for grading within the 30' buffer from the Normal High Water must be contoured to prevent additional stormwater runoff to the adjacent marsh. This area shall be immediately vegetatively stabilized, and must remain in a vegetated state. (9) All other disturbed areas shall be vegetatively stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of construction completion. Along with requiring special care by those who build and develop, the Geaerar Assembly directed fire Constar Resources Comadssloa � (CRC) to implement clear regulations that minimize the burden ou the applicant. This application for a minor development permit under CAMA is part of lice Commission's effort to meet the spirit and intent of the General Assembly. It has been designed to be straigbtforward and require no more time or effort than necessary from the applicant. Please go over this folder with the Local Permit Officer (LPO) for the rQ locality in which you plan to build to be certain that you understand what information he or she needs before you apply. Under CAMA regulations, the minor permit is to be issued within 25 days once a "l complete application is in hand. Often less time is needed if the project is simple. Tic process generally takes about 18 days. You can speed the approval process by making , certain that your application is complete and signed, that your draysiag meets the y specifications given inside and that your application fee is attached. • J Other permits are sometimes required for development in the coastal area.
