Dear Mr. Bradley:
This letter of refinement is in reference to your 18 July 2019 correspondence as well as subsequent
information from your contractor received on 22 July 2019, requesting a modification of Major
CAMA Permit Number 90-18 issued to you on 15 August 2018. Permit Number 90-18 was issued
to replace the existing Community Square docks, construct additional slips and platforms, provide
new structural support to the Watermen's Museum, stabilize the project shoreline with a new
bulkhead, and protect a portion of the shoreline with rip rap, at your property located off SR 1328
at 272 Irvin Garrish HWY on Silver Lake in the Village of Ocracoke, Hyde County, North
Carolina.
You have requested permission to amend the permit to add an additional 60ft of rip rap water ward
of an existing concrete wall, add an additional 14ft x 20ft platform, and enlarge 2 finger piers from
aft wide to 5ft wide.
Your request to lengthen the rip rap, widen the two finger piers, and add the 14ft x 20ft platform
is hereby authorized. All work must be carried out in accordance with your revised plat dated 18
July 2019.
All permit conditions still apply and remain unchanged. The expiration date of this permit remains
31 December 2019. Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter. If you have any
