groin must be set back a minimum distance of 15' from my area of riparian access unless waived by me
(this does not apply to bulkheads or riprap revetments). (If you wish to waive the setback, you must sign

Jetty Extension from Existing Jetties Landward to Embankment and
Rock Rip -Rap Placement
Bobby and Delores Harrell own property at 1181,1183, 1185, 0 Burnside Road in Manteo, North Carolina.
The properties constitute +/- 2,957 linear feet on the Croatan Sound. The shoreline is protected by 12
jetties which have been breached and are not functioning.

The two jetties to the north interface with the Normal Water Level (NWL). The following three jetties are
+/- 15 feet waterward of the NWL or less, and the remainder is at the NWL. (Note: The last two jetties
may be +/- 10 feet offshore depending on the sand flow.) E'
Mr. Harrell would like to extend the jetties landward to the embankment and then place rock rip -rap at the
terminus of the jetties at the embankment/jetty interface.
Please advise if this development can be approved by General Permit.
