I have previously reached out to you by email about having a boat lift installed into an existing boat
slip. You previously approved 8 boat slips last summer for the same pier.(#permit # 80435) I believe I
have enclosed everything needed to start the application process.

I own Unit B that is part of Angler's Bay HOA that is being developed by William Sparkman.
I wish to install a 10,000 lbs lift with in the bounds of slip #4 as shown on the included plat. The
property is located at 104 N Kinston Ave. Atlantic Beach NC 28512.
I have included the following to go along with this application:
- check #4149 in the amount of $200
- an Agent Authorization
- Map showing location of Slip # 4
- Adjacent Riparian notification/waiver for property bordering on the east (Crystal Coast Condo HOA)
- Certified Mail Receipt for the Adjacent Riparian notification/waiver that has been sent to the property
bordering on the west. (Robert Learoyd)
According to William Sparkman, Paulys Bay condos land does not extend to the normal high water line
and do not have adjacent riparian rights.

You will need to obtain signatures from the adjacent land owner on the right and
the one on the left. I am unsure if the Paulys Bay condo's land extends to the
normal high water. If it does not they are not the riparian neighbor on this side so
you would need to notify Mr. Robert Learoyd at 200 North Kinston Ave. as well
as Crystal Coast Condo HOA on the other side. You would also need Mr.
Sparkman sign the attached agent form because he owns the land the docking
facility extends from. I would also need a hand drawing showing the slip location
and proposed boatlift dimensions. The permit fee is 200 dollars and we take check
or money order only. It can be made out to NCDEQ and you can mail everything
to me at 400 Commerce Ave. in Morehead City, NC 28557 or drop it by the office
which is also 400 Commerce Ave. Once the permit is ready it would be valid for
120 days and someone will contact you to pick it up or have it emailed to you.

I recently bought a condo at 104 N Kinston Ave, Atlantic Beach and want to have
a boat lift installed. You approved a permit (980435) for 8 boat lifts last summer
for the same development. The previous permit was for slips 7-14. I'm wanting
to install a lift in slip 44.
I am planning to work with Gray Weeks of Tight Times Marine Construction and
James Ott for the electrical. Billy Sparkman (the developer who sold us the
condo) gave me the names of the adjacent property owners to send the Adjacent
Riparian form.
What do I need to do to apply for a General Permit?
Do I need to have the adjacent land owners send the form to me or CAMA? I
plan to send the form registered with a return receipt. How long do I give them to
reply?
Does CAMA need anything from the HOA showing they have approved it?
