This letter of refinement is in reference to your 26 April 2021 request for a modification of
Major CAMA Permit No. 13-19 issued to Billy R. Tyson Sr. CAMA Major Permit No. 13-19 was
issued to the Billy R. Tyson Sr. on 25 February 2019 for the installation of bulkhead, boathouse,
and additional platform.
Your request to amend permit 13-19 to allow an additional 4'x20' platform to the existing
272ft' of platform as shown in your updated plat dated 14 April 2021 which is consistent with
NCAC 07H.0208 (b)(6)(B) is hereby authorized. You also requested to repair the decking on the
12'x 16' platform in front of the existing shed as well as replace 40' of wooden bulkhead with vinyl
sheets in the same alignment around the base of the platform by the shed. This work will be
considered maintenance and repair, and will be also be authorized at this time. Please note that
this refinement does not allow for any increase in the number of slips. All permit conditions still
apply and remain unchanged. Your modified plat attached to your 21 April 2021 correspondence
will become a permanent part of the file.
