Thank you for the drawings and description of repairs.
Pursuant to 15A NCAC 07K .0103 (Maintenance and Repair), you are hereby authorized to proceed with the repair work
at Beach Accesses # 2 and #4, in North Topsail Beach, Onslow County, provided the work remains consistent with the
above referenced Rule and well as the site plans and description, prepared by Parker and Associates and received by the
Division of Coastal Management on December 6, 2012. As approved, the work consists of repairing breaches in the dune
as a result of Hurricane Sandy (which occurred during the fall 2012). Additionally, we are authorizing the removal of sand
from the areas surrounding the beach access walkway staircase.
