I hope this finds you well. After lots of discussion with Tim we are wanting to build a new seawall that can
withstand )hopefully) future punishment from the water way in front of our lot. I have received from the
neighbors their consent to build and raise the height of a new sea wall, place lifts and use rocks in front if
necessary (though I think that might be over kill at this point).
Please let me know what needs to happen next as far as permitting.

1-Replacement/Repair of preexisting Dock,
2-The addition of 2 boat lifts. One lift will be set on the exterior (south east) side and on set on the interior (north west) side of the dock.
3- The addition of a floating or lower fixed dock section to be no larger than 20'x20' placed in the general area outlined on the attached drawing.
4- Replacement and extension of existing Seawall/bulkhead. The seawall/bulk head will be built outboardrin front of the existing sea wall and we
intend to raise the seawall 1'-2' above the existing seawall at the discretion of NCDNR. Additionally we anticipate file placement of granite rock or
equivalent in front of the seawall to dissipate wave action. See attached drawing from marine contractor.
