For the 7h 1200 rules the access itself, as long as it is 6' wide or less, does not count
towards the allowable platform square footage. You are allowed 8sf per linear foot of
shoreline for platform. Also each individual component cant exceed 400 sf. For example,
if you shoreline was 100' in length then you would be allowed a maximum of 800 sf of
platform. With that said you can't have one 800 sf platform because each individual
component can't exceed 400 sf. If you are building back within the docking facility
footprint then we can use the 7h 2000 rules which will allow for the reconfiguration of
the docking facility within the existing footprint (will allow you to get back what you
had). I hope this makes sense and please let me know if you have more questions.

Good morning - Just to make sure I am clear I can have 400 sq 8 of "dock" plus
the 6' wide walkway to the end dock?
The current dock is 24' x 18' with a 30' x 4' walkway
I assume the dock needs to be 400 sq ft or less? so 24 x 16 plus the 32 x 6
walkway is ok? (extra 2' to keep the overall length the same)
