Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Dear Adjacent Riparian Property Owner:
Susan Anne Hatcher is applying for two CAMA General Permits to construct a dock with lift slips at
4500 Termite Lane, Morehead City, NC 28557, and to construct an observation platform at 222
Roanoke Avenue, Morehead City, NC 28557, both adjacent to Pelletier Creek. The specifics of the
proposed work are on the enclosed drawings. Please review both sets of plans and sign and return
both Riparian Owner Notification forms.
As the adjacent riparian property owner to the aforementioned project, I am required to notify you of
the development in order to give you the opportunity to comment on the project. Please review the
attached drawings.
Should you have any objections to this proposal, please contact Heather Styron, the NC Division of
Coastal Management representative for this project, within 10 days of your receipt of this notice. She
can be reached at 252-808-2808 or email at heather.m.styron@ncdenr.gov. Such comments will be
considered by the Department in reaching a final decision on the application. No comment within 10
