Below is a picture of the fresh "dune escarpment" at east adjacent, Shoals Club. At least 10' high at the high areas. I have been asked, as authorized agent for Bald Head Island Limited, LLC, P.O. Box 3069, Bald Head Island, NC 28461 to apply for a beach bulldozing to NLW CAMA General Permit (GP) per 15A NCAC 7H.2500 and any related COE or other agency permits. This is a similar beach bulldozing request as per GP71812, issued 10-10-18, after Hurricane Florence, and 70886 earlier that Spring issued on 4/30/18. Copy of 71812 attached, Drawing Still pretty close. As we had just done surveyed MLW and measured from stake, distances are closer to 20' from flat escarpment to MLW, and MLW to NLW = 150'+/-. Property width at beach is appx 440'. Understood that Permit will allow a 1' "push depth" Palm tree was in the Shoals Club playground area. Escarpment is not as high there. Note, Lot 3210 is west adjacent property, Bald Head Island Limited, is simultaneously applying for similar permit for it's appx 110' width Lot 3210 parcel, 3210 Shoals Watch Way, similar to its 2018 GP's 71805 & 70885. As Tara has seen the site conditions on her site visit on 1-27-22, and we have already discussed the uncovered wood ship skeleton/flotsam, I won't elaborate further, other than we are still awaiting NC UAU's site visit for determination on disposition. Our preference is skeleton removal first, then bull dozing.
