This letter of refinement is in reference to your 17 January 2022 request for a modification
of Major CAMA Permit No. 95-21 issued to Linwood and Diane Boyd. CAMA Major Permit No.
95-21 was issued to Linwood and Diane Boyd on 23 July 2021 for the installation of a riprap
revetment, gravel access path, pier with platform, boathouse, and boatlift.
Your request to amend permit 95-21 to move the pier f60 from the southern border of the
property to the approximate center of the property and install a 3' x 90' finger pier totaling an
addition 270ft2 around the permitted boatlifts as shown on your updated plat and cross sectional
drawings dated 17 January 2022 is hereby authorized. Please note that this refinement does not
allow for any increase in the number of slips. All permit conditions still apply and remain
unchanged. Your modified plat and cross sectional drawings will become a permanent part of the
file.

RE: Request for Permit Modification to Permit 95-21
Dear Mr. Grandy:
This letter is intended to request a modification to permit #95-21 issued
to Linwood and Diane Boyd for Major Development in an Area of
Environmental Concern located adjacent to the Pamlico River, at Lot 5
off C•reidman Drive in Pamlico Bluffs Sub -division, h0lount's Creek NC,
issued July 23, 2021.
The requested refinement consist of two modifications to the pier: one
is the moving of the pier from +/- 60 from the Southern property
boundary to +/-120 feet from the Southern property boundary. There
are 263 feet of frontage so this movement locates the pier more in the
center of the property. The second modification is the addition of a
three foot wide "finger pier" as a walkway around the previously
approved boat house, to access the previously approved boat Aip
adjacent to the boathouse. Total area of finger pier addition is 3 x 90 =
270 sq ft.
Attached are a plan view and cross sectional drawings showing the
relocation and the finger pier addition.
