COUNTY ATTORNEY RESOLUTION DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE TOWN OF WINFALL TO ADOPT AN INDIVIDUAL LAND USE PLAN INDEPENDENT OF PERQUIMANS COUNTY AS ALLOWED UNDER THE COASTAL AREA MANAGEMENT ACT OF 1974 WHEREAS, §113A-110(c) of the Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) provides that either the County or the Coastal Resources Commission (CRC) may delegate responsibility to a municipality to prepare and adopt a CAMA Land Use Plan independent of the County Land Use Plan; and WHEREAS, the Perquimans County Commissioners were advised that the Town of Winfall has requested authority from Perquirn.ans County to prepare a CAMA Land Use Plan independent from the Perquimans County CAMA Land Use Plan; and WHEREAS, the Town of Winfall is recognized as an incorporated municipality by the State of North Carolina and is located in the County of Perquimans; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Perquimans has delegated authority to the Town of Winfall to prepare and adopt its own CAMA Land Use Plan for areas within its planning jurisdiction.
