The mooring piles on the sketch are just a representation and not actual locations. We are not moving, or replacing the mooring piles or the boat lift. We are proposing to replace the existing dock with the floater as drawn on the sketch. All pilings for the floater are internal and will not increase the footprint. Please let me know if you need anything else. Unfortunately I do not have enough info to make a determination. Using the small hand drawn map on the form signed by adjacent property owners, I see a t-dock, with a gangway down to a floating dock next to an existing boat lift. Then there is 3 existing piles out front of the dock. The three piles shown on the hand drawn map do not match what the imagery shows is out there. You can see piles in the image but they are not in the same configuration as they are in the hand drawn map, this makes me question what else is incorrect. Should I assume that the boat lift will not move and use that as a gauge for everything else they are asking for? Should I assume the piles are just a representation of the piles in the picture or are they looking to remove the ones that are there and replace them more like what is in the drawing? The map also does not show how the floating dock will be anchored. I would really like to see the piles they plan to use for the floating dock. Can we get them to draw in piles for the floater as well? > Thanks. > Justin > -----Original Message----- • From: Styron, Heather M. <heather.m.styron@ncdenr.gov> > Sent: Friday, September 17, 2021 1:16 PM > To: Arnette, Justin R CIV USARMY CESAW (USA) <Justin.R.Arnette@usace.army.mil> > Subject: [Non-DoD Source] FW: [External] 1512 Front Street > Hey Justin, > I have a contractor that wants to reconfigure the existing docks in the same footprint but they are over your channel setback.
