Re: Cannon's Ferry Boating Access Area, Chowan County
Ms. Rountree:
Please find enclosed the revised plans for reissue of the CAM General permit #76821 for
the Cannon's Ferry Boating Access Area dredge project. Per our last meeting on -site, the
following changes have been made to the plans:
1. The access road with 1,300 LF of timber matting is shown.
2. The dredge spoil dewatering location has been moved to the other side of parking area.
3. The dredge area and volume have been reduced, as to not disturb area outside of channel
mouth during moratorium.
4. Rip -rap has been added to plans as a temporary measure until seawall can be repaired.
After reviewing this submittal, please let me know if you need any additional information.

ADJACENT RIPARIAN LANDOWNERS STATEMENT
General Statute 113-229 requires that riparian landowners with property adjoining a proposed excavation and/or
fill project be given thirty (30) days in which to comment on the project This form allows the adjacent riparian landowner
to express either:
1) objection to the project
2) no objection to the project and the desire to waive the right to the 30-day period so that application processing
can progress more rapidly. I'he adjacent riparian landowner may aiso choose to not sign the form at all.
am an adjacent riparian landowner and have seen a copy of the plans
submitted by North Cmotira R'i Agesotrrces Commission wherein said applicant requests a permit to excavate, fill, or
otherwise alter the land or water adjacent to my property.
I have no objection to the project as presently proposed and hereby waive the right of objection as
provided in G.S. 113-229.
