subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for
compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that: 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this
permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the
local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement from the adjacent riparian property owner(s)
has been obtained, or proof of delivery of certified mail notification of the adjacent riparian property owner(s).
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Attached are #1) the previously approved CAMA permit from 2020, and #2) the new paperwork requesting 2 additional
pilings per the drawing. Please let me know if there is any additional paperwork you may need? What do I do next?
I'm sure I need to pay somebody somewhere for the permit? Just let me know and I'll be glad to get it taken care of......

Good afternoon Ms. Styron,
Attached is a copy of my CAMA permit from 4/27/2020 that I just received today. In the request that was submitted,
also in the attachment, two additional tie off pilings were requested. In the permit under "other" it states that they were
denied due to less than 2 feet of water at dead low tide. This is incorrect. At the lowest of tides ever I still have 4 feet of
water at the end of the dock. Someone recently purchased the piece of property next door to mine and was approved
for the same dock WITH pilings??
The water in front of my property is considerably deeper than theirs and has no needle grass. How do I get this re-
evaluated and corrected so I can have
2 additional tie off pilings installed? Any wisdom and guidance you can provide regarding this would be GREATLY
appreciated.
