It looks like all the piles are outside the setback. I was writing in reference to another proposal, where the applicant would like to build a fixed structure up to the USACE setback and then extend a piling-less gangway and floating dock over the setback line in order to reach minimum water depths for a docking facility. The property is located at 3106 E. yeah Dr. in Oak Island. Please see attached drawing. The property owner is proposing to install the 12 x 16 deck landward of the setback line as well as all pilings.
