Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Hope all is well for you. I have attached the signed forms and drawings for my lift to go into Gull Harbor
Yacht Club per our email exchange. If you could take a look at them and make sure I have what you will need
and I will then mail you copies if you need me to and also send you a check for $200.00. If you could let me
know who to make it out to also?

Even though you own the slip the Marina HOA still owns the docking facility and that is why you will
need their signature on the agent form. They are the property owner (land the docking facility extends
from) and they would be authorizing you to place a boatlift within the slip. As far as the house this type
pf CAMA permit would be permitted by the Building and Planning Department that handles your area.

Thanks for the quick response. So I am clear on the Agent Authorization form... I am the
property owner and Gull Harbor Yacht Club is the Agent?
And feel free to call me Rick. Looking forward to meeting you in the near future. We are also
building a house at Gull Harbor on the Sound and I am sure we will need to discuss that at some
point in the near future?

You will need the marina HOA to sign the attached agent form for you as well as obtain the adjacent
neighbor signatures from the properties that area adjacent to the marina property. This would be
Craig and Nancy Willis at 214 Sleepy Hollow Drive and Joshua Lyle 129 Gull Harbor Drive. You will also
need to provide a drawing with dimensions. Once you have all of this you can either email me the
signed forms and I will contact you later for the permit fee or you can mail the signed forms, drawing
and 200 dollar permit fee to 400 Commerce Ave. Morehead City, NC 28557. We take check or money
order only and it can be made out to NCDEQ. I hope this helps.

I got your contact information from Ken Craig, President of Gull Harbor Yacht Club. We
purchased a slip at the Yacht Club in January and would like to install a lift for our boat. I
have built a lift in the past at Holden Beach but it has been a while so I wanted to connect with
