H&K is a licensed Marine Contractor in the State of North Carolina,(NC77945)is fully insured and meets or exceeds all legal requirements. I This quote is based on construction as allowed under CAMA permit#(To be acquired)and uses r the following materials: Four,ten-inch butt diameter by thirty-five foot pilings,2.5 C.C.A pressured treated, driven to full resistance at 12,000 lbs. 8,'Y2 inch by 14 inch Stainless steel bolt assemblies used to secure the boat lift to the pilings. One Boat Lift U.S. 13,000-pound rated boat lift.All aluminum and stainless-steel construction with Lesson drive motors.The lift is to be set up with 1 set of standard 12-foot bunks and four guide poles.The lift be setup specifically to fit your boat. One Gem GR2A boat lift control unit with full remote control and auto stop.All needed wiring materials and labor to wire boatlift to the control unit.Control unit will be mounted on a supplied aluminum pedestal.One remote control is included per boat lift,additional remote are available. Number 8 Type W four conductor wire and one double pole Eaton breaker will be supplied and used to supply power to the Gem unit. All of our products come with a full warranty for material defects and workmanship. My husband, Brian, and I recently purchased the lot and home that adjoins your undeveloped lot on Bradley Creek in Wilmington, NC. Our property was previously Dwned by William (Bill) and Leslie Branch. Our ownership includes a boat slip on the creek and we would like to install a lift in that slip. The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NC DEQ) requires us to obtain a permit prior to installing a lift. We also understand that to date,your notification efforts have not proven successful. Further,you do not wish to pursue any additional means of notification of your adjacent neighbors. Please be advised that while DCM agrees that you have exercised a good faith effort in your attempts at notification, and accordingly we will process your General Permit application,the CAMA statute and rules of the Coastal Resources Commission allow for the filing of third party appeals by any party dissatisfied with the issuance of a CAMA permit. Should such an appeal be filed in this case,the third party appeal could be granted by the Coastal Resources Commission due to a lack of documented notification, allowing the appeal to proceed to the Office of Administrative Hearings for judicial review.
