"GRANTORS"; to MICHAEL H. BASNIGHT and wife, GINA L. BASNIGHT, whose address

That GRANTORS, for adequate consideration to them paid by the GRANTEES, the
receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold and by these
presents do hereby bargain, sell, grant and convey unto GRANTEES, and their heirs and assigns,

in fee simple, those certain tracts or parcels of land located in HarrOlsville "Ibwnship, Hertford
County, North Carolina, more particularly described as follows:
Those certain lots or parcels of land, together with improvements thereon, lying
and being in Harrellsville Township, Hertford County, North Carolina, and being more
particularly described as follows:
TRACT I. That certain lot bounded on the North by lands of T.D. Temple, on
the West by Tract II described below, on the South by other land of B.E. White, and on
the East by the Chowan River, and BEGINNING at an existing iron pipe, lying on the
northeastern edge of a lane running from S.R. 1441 to the lands of T.D. Temple and
being approximately 60 feet west of the edge of the Chowan River, in the line of T.D.
Temple, and running thence North 73 degrees 17 minutes East 51.2 feet to an existing
iron pipe; thence North 73 degrees 17 minutes East 8.8 feet to a point along the edge of
the Chowan River; thence along a calculated line by the edge of the Chowan River South
18 degrees 32 minutes East 111.4 feet to a point along the edge of the Chowan River, a
corner for this lot and property of Alice H. White; thence South 85 degrees 25 minutes
West 56 feet to an iron pipe in the center of the aforesaid lane; thence North 21 degrees
46 minutes East 100 feet to the point and place of BEGINNING.
TRACT II. That certain lot bounded on the North by lands of T.D. Temple, on
the West by lands of O.C. Freeman (now Frances Freeman Bracy), on the East by Tract I
described above, and on the South by lands of Wilbur Weeks (Tract III hereinafter
described), and BEGINNING at an existing iron pipe lying on the northeastern edge of a
lane running from S.R. 1441 to the lands of T.D. Temple and being approximately 60 feet
west of the edge of the Chowan River in the line of T.D. Temple, and running thence
South 21 degrees 46 minutes East 126 feet (running along Tract I and property of Alice
Hill. White) to an iron pipe, lying in the aforesaid lane, a corner for this lot and in the line
of Wilbur Weeks (Tract III hereinafter described); thence along the Weeks (Tract III) line
South 85 degrees 25 minutes West 100 feet to a point, a corner at Freeman property (now
Frances Bracy); thence North 29 degrees 10 minutes West 107.1 feet to a point, a corner
for this lot, Temple, in the line of O.C. Freeman (now Frances Bracy); thence North 73
degrees 17 minutes East 109.8 feet to the point and place of beginning.
The above tracts of property are conveyed subject to any and all restrictions,
easements and rights of way of record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hertford
County or disclosed by the Plat of the above lots, prepared by Linwood L. Rawls, RLS L-
1241, dated March 27, 1986, which is recorded in Book 436, page 383 in the office of the
Register of Deeds of Hertford County and incorporated herein by reference.

TRACTS I and II are currently identified with PIN 6964-90-9632 in the Ilerti'ord
County Land Records.
TRACT 1I1. Beginning at an iron stake at a newly -made corner in the Southern
edge of an old road leading to an old fishery, and which beginning point is located at a
corner for Bonnie E. Askew, and which beginning point is the Southern -most corner for
the lands previously conveyed by Bonnie E. Askew to T.D. Temple by Deed dated
September 13, 1966, and recorded in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Hertford
County, and which is shown and delineated on that certain map hereafter referred to;
thence leaving said beginning point and running along the line of Sumner Early North 30
degrees 15 minutes West 167 feet to an iron stake at the Southwest corner of that certain
lot heretofore conveyed by T.D. Temple and wife to Jack T. Walker (Tract 11 above);
thence along the Southern line of said Walker (Tract II) lot North 83 degrees East 100
feet to the Southeast corner for said lot previously conveyed to Jack T. Walker at a corner
for Walker and a lot presently owned by Turner, Pierce, et al; thence along the Western
line of the lot presently owned by Turner, Pierce, et al, South 0 degrees 30 minutes East
83 feet to the Southwest corner of the lot presently owned by Turner, Pierce, et al, and
which is also a corner for Bonnie E. Askew (now Frances Bracy); thence along the line of
Bonnie E. Askew South 16 degrees 30 minutes West 70 feet to the point of beginning,
and being a part of and the Southern portion of that certain tract of land conveyed to T.D.

more particularly shown and delineated by metes and bounds on that certain map
showing property of T.D. Temple, Chowan River, Harrellsville Township, Hertford
County, N.C., prepared by Chas. E. Hale, R.L.S., dated September 3, 1966, and which
map is of record in Map Book 4, Page 95 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for
Hertford County, North Carolina. Reference is made to the map for a more definite and
certain description of the lands hereby conveyed. Reference is made to Deed from T.D.
Temple and wife, Mary J. Temple, to Nathan Wilbur Weeks, dated February 28, 1967.
and recorded in Book 326, Page 749, Hertford County Registry.
Tract III is currently identified with PIN 6964-90-9561 in the Hertford County
Land Records.
TRACT IV. All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land located in Harrellsville
Township, Hertford County, North Carolina, and BEGINNING at a stake, an iron pipe on
the edge of the Chowan River at a point, a corner for this property and other lands of H.F.
Askew, thence along the edge of Chowan River in a Southerly direction 82 feet to a
stake, an iron pipe a point, a corner for this property, that of said river and H.F. Askew;
thence along said Askew line in a Westerly direction 73 feet to a stake, an iron pipe a
point, a corner on road; thence along said road in a Northerly direction 82 feet to a stake

reserved or conveyed for a right of way of ingress, egress and regress over and upon that
certain old road or pathway which presently runs across the properties as reflected on the
referenced plats and referenced deeds herein, providing motor vehicle access from the
public right of way of SR 1441. including specifically, but not limited to, the portion as
described in right of way agreement in Book 188. Page 330 in the office of the Register
of Deeds of Hertford County.
This conveyance is made together with and subject to legally enforceable easements,
restrictions, rights of way and conditions, of record, or apparent on -site.
THIS CONVEYANCE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE PRIMARY RESIDENCE OF
GRANTORS.

White" lot which is 26' feet wide and 58' feet deep along the Western edge of the
