as a request for a CAMA General Permit to allow five new batter pilings and additional
whalers to help fortify the existing bulkhead and the placement of rip rap to augment the
existing material. Kent Mitchell is the adjacent property owner. His letter of no
objection is enclosed.
I hope that you can take a look at this project when you come to the Island on Monday,
November 10.

Dear Ed:
Please find attached the adjacent riparian property owner notification/waiver
form. I have determined from actual plats that Kent Mitchell is the adjacent
riparian property owner on both sides.
As we had discussed on site earlier, the proposal at hand is to provide rip rap along
the base of the existing bulkhead wall in addition to providing sheathing on the
interior side of the bulkhead. Just as a reminder a check for $50 was given to you
for the permit fee.
The owner would like to proceed with this project as soon as possible. Please fax
any correspondence or permit approval to Bald Head Island Planning Department
(457-7463).
