The permit that had been obtained for the bulkhead and pier has expired, making it necessary that I obtain a new permit from CAMA. This requires that you be notified and sign another notification form. Enclosed are the notification form and the proposed pier drawing. The proposed pier will encroach approx.7' into the US Army Corps of Engineers setback line. I have applied to the Corps for a waver to permit the pier to be built to this length. If the Corps refuses to grant the waver the pier will only be a total of 75' long. Please sign the enclosed notification form and return it to me if you have no objection to this pier.
