Brendan, after our discussion, I agree that the living sea wall I am planning to construct will allow for a
minimum of a one foot space between the existing coast line and the sea wall itself. In addition,the
length of the sea wall will expand no longer than forty five feet in length thereby allowing for a fifteen
foot set back between the adjacent properties.
As per the construction of the proposed dock. I agree that the pier and dock will extend no longer than
the line drawn between the existing docks on the adjacent properties. The final drawing of the pier and
dock will reflect that change.

Dear Jack& Barb:
Please find attached our completed Adjacent Riparian Property Owner Statement for your proposed pier
and living sea wall projects. For clarity and as indicated, we do not wish to waive the 15 foot riparian
right setback requirement for the pier and the living sea wall. Additionally, as required by 15A NCAC 07H
.1205(b), we request the pier be constructed without any part of the structure extending waterward
beyond a line between the two adjacent piers located at 2388 West Tanglewood Dr SW and 2364 Ocean
Crest Court SW.
The attached mark-up of your proposed sketch illustrates these comments.
