I spoke to Brian Grice yesterday afternoon. He said his schedule is booked until end of April, first of May. He
suggested that we hold off on approving the permit until end of February to avoid having to get it reissued. Can you

Please accept this letter along with the attached documents as my request for a permit to build a
bulkhead along the back side of my property to protect the property from erosion.
The property is located in Waterway Estates in Sunset Beach, NC. I purchased 2 lots (305 and 307). I
sold a portion of lot 305 to my neighbor. I had the remaining property combined into one lot.The
address I have been using to reference the property is 305/307 Waterway Drive,Sunset Beach, NC.
The bulkhead will run along the back of the property. Per the attached survey map,the length of the
property along the water is 111.12 feet. The property backs up to a finger inlet off of the Atlantic
Intracoastal Waterway. There is marsh grass in the water. In some locations,the grass is growing very
close to the property.
I have notified my neighbors, listed below, using the form provided via certified mail.
