Dear Larry,
Welcome to Sea Diamond Pier! I'm sure you will enjoy the many benefits of your investment as
prime docking facilities become scarce in our area. I would ask that you acquaint yourself with
the Rules and Regulations of the Corporation and if a copy has not been provided to you by the
seller,please let me know.
Regarding the installation of the boat lift,you may have a problem as your slip is located within
50 feet of the town right-of-way and they will not allow any fixed structures within that
boundary. However,your contractor will address that problem when he applies for the necessary
permits.
As you may know,I had a lift installed last year by Jim Booth of Bluewater Marine. It's a
10,000 lb. lift with remote. You might want to get a quote from him as well as from Mr. Flynn.
Look forward to meeting you in the fall when I return to NC.
