RE: Bald Head Island Ferry Depot Repairs - Additions
Dear Mr. Brooks:
Request approval to make repairs or improvements as described herein.
Attached are three drawings:
Drawing#1 • Highlighted in yellow-concrete pad and washout under,proposed temporary
ramp to facilitate continued use while repairs are being made.
• Highlighted in orange - area of original construction requiring replacement
of approximately fifteen deteriorated pilings. (Exact pilings to be replaced
to be determined)
• Highlighted in broken pink-proposed permanent addition to existing dock
to accommodate passengers' baggage/cargo coming on and off the ferry.
Drawing#2 • Details of bulkhead washout, concrete pad and temporary addition(ramp).
Drawing #3 • Details of requested permanent addition to loading dock.
