We received a certified letter requesting a waiver of objections for F&S Marine Contracts and
Crockers marine to build a bulkhead adjacent to the properties at Wrightsville West ( 2029
Eastwood Rd). The Board of Directors have objected to the waiver and are requesting more
information concerning this bulkhead before they can approve any request for building near
Motts Creek.

Bulkhead Construction Request
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter shall acknowledge receipt of the Adjacent Riparian Property Owner
Notification& Waiver Form regarding a bulkhead at Crocker's Marine. This letter is written by
the Home Owners' Association on behalf of sixty one landowners at Wrightsville West Town
Homes. Please permit this correspondence to serve as our objection to the proposed bulkhead
installation by Kay Crocker at 2035 Eastwood Road, Wilmington,North Carolina.
Wrightsville West Town Homes are adjacent to the above-referenced property. On
behalf of Wrightsville West we are objecting to the installation of the above-referenced bulkhead
and are seeking any and all protections afforded to us under federal, state and local laws,rules
and regulations. Please keep us advised of any further developments in this case. We look

Please reference your 3/15/00 letter to the Division of Coastal Management concerning your
objections to the proposal by Kay Crocker to construct a bulkhead on his property, adjacent to your
property, at 2035 Eastwood Road and 125 Canal Street, in New Hanover County. The Division
appreciates your concerns about the proposed development, however, the proposed project has been
determined to comply with the Rules of the Coastal Resources Commission (7H.1100), and as such, the
Division has issued a CAMA General Permit for the proposed action.
If you wish to contest our decision to issue this permit, you must file for a contested case hearing
