Dear Mr. McDowell:
As you are aware, Michael Lopez is currently replacing the old '`Sea Coast
Seafood" fixed pier with a more aesthetically pleasing floating structure as approved in
CAMA permit 160-98. Originally the plan included 4 finger piers, 3 of which were to be
3' wide, while 1 was to be 4' wide. Mr. Lopez would like to make a minor modification
to his plan and make all 4 finger piers 4' wide thereby providing safer and more stable
platforms.
A little over a year ago the bulkhead was repaired. Thanks to yet another
hurricane it is now in need of replacement. Due to time and the failure of this structure
minor maintenance dredging is also in need. If you have any questions in regard to the
above mentioned improvements feel free to call. If you have no objections, please sign
below and return this form in the enclosed postage paid envelope Thank you for your
time.
