PROPOSAL To: City of Wilmington Public Services and Facilities Attn.: Mr, Richard King Via Fax: (910) 341-7854 Project: Castle Street Boat Ramps Floating Dock Replacement We propose to supply labor, equipment and materials to perform the following services: 1) Remove and dispose of four (4) existing floating dock structures. 2) Install three (3) new Sound Marine, Inc. 8' wide by 22' long floating docks complete with white vinyl fender and two (2) internal and one (1) hoop type pile guides per dock. Docks to be secured with piles removed from the existing floating dock structures, New docks to be positioned as indicated in the attached sketch 3) Provide minor relocation and ,structural improvements to the existing ramps. Note this work is not intended as a rebuild of the ramps which are aging. 4) Work shall be completed by June 2, 2000. Replacement of Floating Docks for the Lump Sum Price of $17,750.00 Special Provisions: 1) Permits shall be secured by the City of Wilmington. 2) One (1)ramp shall remain in service during construction.
