Dear Dail:
As we have previously discussed, I am contracting you to construct a pier and dock per
the attached drawings at my property at Sidbury Division, Lot 9-B in Topsail Beach,
Pender County, NC. Attached are drawings that detail the location of the property, the
pier and the dock with two mooring pilings.
Earlier this summer you showed me an example of your work at Mr. Jim Ward's home on
the sound. We discussed that construction in detail and it is the same quality of materials
and construction and the type and style of construction that I want.
Attached are the required property owner notification/waiver forms signed by both
adjoining property owners. The property owner to the south has also signed/agreed to
waive the 15' setback which allows the two mooring pilings shown in the drawing.
In our discussions you agreed to get the required permits and approvals for the above
construction. Please proceed with permitting and construction as soon as you can.
Dail, it was a pleasure to meet you and have your help in deciding on the specifics of my
pier and dock. I admired your work immediately. Please call to let me know you have
received this and still agree to accept my construction job.

I understand that a pier, dock, mooring pilings, breakwater, boat
house, lift must be set back a minimum distance of 15'
from my area of riparian access unless waived by me. (If you wish
to waive the setback, you must initial the appropriate blank
below. )
