violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action;and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that I)prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit,the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s).
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available

Hope all is well. Not sure if you remember me but we perform the maintenance dredging at Seaside Marina in Holden
Beach every few years. As part of the permitting process,we are required to notify each adjacent property owner of the
project. The specifics are the same as in years past. Can you simply reply to this email stating that you have"no
objections"to the work as described? If you have time, I am attaching the official form for your signature but usually an
emailed response will suffice.Thanks again and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great

Notification"form for our upcoming work at Seaside Marina in Holden Beach. The project entails removal of
approximately 450 cubic yards of material from the marina basin in order to re-establish adequate water depths for vessel
use. As I mentioned on the phone, in addition to simply signing the attached form, you can reply to this message stating
that you have been notified of our intent to initiate work. I appreciate your time and consideration on this matter. Thanks

Hope all is well. I wanted to touch base on an upcoming project at the Seaside Marina on Holden Beach. The project
consists of maintenance dredging within the existing marina basin and placing the material on the Fulford's property
located on the north side of the Holden Beach bridge. I am attaching all of the supplemental materials other than the
Rankin Riparian Notification which I will forward later tonight. I will drop a check off tomorrow at your office.
The project scope and components are identical to previous maintenance events. Please let me know if I may have
