This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

DESCRIPTION
We propose to repair pier by replacing existing stringers and decking on the
existing boardwalk and walkways from the waterline out. This will include
replacing existing handrailing.
We propose to construct two (2) new 8' wide x 12' long fishing platform additions
to be connected to the outer side of existing boardwalk. Each platform will have
handrails.
We propose to construct and install a new 12' wide x 16' long wood floating dock
with handrails on two (2) sides. This will include a new ADA compliant gangway
to be connected to the existing boardwalk. This will also include connecting the
existing plastic kayak launch to the side of the new floating dock for safer entry.
We propose to construct and install a new wooden kayak launch floating dock.
This will consist of an 8' wide x 12' long platform with two (2) 4.5' wide x 16' long
finger piers and a grab bar for launching.
