Dear Mr. Parker:
The Town of Carolina Beach is herewith applying for a permit/authorization to dredge an area shown on
the attached plans. The dredge material was deposited within the Pleasure Cay Boat Basin as a result of
damage to the Town's drainage pipe system (which empties in to the boat basin) during the past years
storms. We are requesting to remove the storm related materials from the boat basin which presently is
causing inconvenience to the adjacent property owners by disallowing them applicable use of their boat
docking/basin facilities.
Your consideration regarding this matter will be appreciated.
