Hurricane Floyd did substantial damage to my floating and fixed docks, and some damage to the seawall. Shortly thereafter I made arrangements to have the damage repaired, and although the contractor did so some repair to the fixed dock, he ultimately disappeared without having repaired either the seawall or the floating dock. I have now made arrangements again with a different contractor to repair or reinforce the areas, as shown on the attached drawing. The work will in no way intrude on your property, but will restore the waterfront usefulness of my property and should tend to increase the value of both our properties.
