I don't understand the waiver of the 15-foot setback request. Is there going to be any part of this lift within 15 feet of my
property?

Mr. Ray,
We have received your signed riparian form for the work we are proposing for Mr. Craig Simms. You stated that
you did not receive a description or drawing with the riparian form. There was a description included, you returned
it with your signed form and letter. However, I do apologize for not being more specific about the location of the
boat lift. I should have added that the boat lift will be installed on the first slip on the left of the dock shared
between Mr. Simms and Mr. Slate. As for a drawing, we do not usually send one for a boat lift on an existing dock
unless it is close enough to the neighboring property to be a concern.
There is a map attached here that shows the slip where the boat lift for Mr. Simms will be installed.
Please let us know if you still have objections to this project and we'll do our best to answer any questions or
concerns you have.
