Due to Hurricanes Bertha and Fran,the planned modifications were delayed and a two-year extension was granted in December I997 for the completion of the planned modifications and boat lifts: The Yacht Club has not renewed its permit after the expiration of the extension in December 1999, However, several boat slip owners have indicated their intentions to install boat lifts in the very near future, It is anticipated that one or more of the current owners will be applying for individual CAMA permits in the very near future, The purpose of this correspondence is to advise your office that installation of boat lifts is in keeping with the Yacht Club by-laws.
