We are satisfied that Mr. Ed Brooks of CAMA has been involved in your project and has approved it as proposed. We also understand that this project does not require the usual CAMA application, but notification of adjacent property owners as well approval and inspection by Mr. Brooks. We have therefore been notified and there are no further questions at this time. It is only the concern of property owners at Southeast Harbor to maintain the beauty of the waterway view which we all enjoy. To date, we have not had any response. As I indicated in my conversation earlier this week, the homeowners whose lots directly face the waterfront, all have grave doubts about the creditability of any Ricky Williams project. His prior record regarding the quality of materials used in his project of a few years ago, along with other issues that his site has created for our and other adjacent communities, has left large question marks in the minds of most of our homeowners. If you require any other information, please feel free to call any of our Board members listed below. This time we felt it was fair to involve the other waterfront homeowners in the review of your proposal. As you know, there are many concerns about proposed changes to your pier area from homeowners in Southeast Harbor. Specifically related to the addition of rock is the concern about enlarging the footprint that may increase parking there and the fact that additional gravel can wash into our narrow navigational route. According to the CAMA application form, it is stated that we need to receive from you a copy of the application to CAMA and plats. It is uncertain if the drawing you sent us qualified as a plat for the changes requested. These homeowners are only interested in more detail from you and some assurance that your maintenance project is going to be positive. We realize that you are anxious to proceed with the work as soon as possible, however, you understand that there are other issues that have delayed signing this permit. In sending another piece of mail, please use the Southeast Harbor post office box as written above in case I am not available to receive it and the other Southeast Harbor board members can move this process along. We anticipate starting at the boat landing and extending the rocks about 400 feet west. This will protect our property against rising water and wind. As you know we need approval from adjacent properly owners. Your signature below will serve as approval for the project. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention.
