This permit is subiect to compliance with this application, site drawinS and attached Seneral and sPecific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may sublect the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the Permit to become
nullandvoid.
This permit must be on the prolect site and accessible to the permit officerwhen the proiect is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that l) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this Permit, the aPPlicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riParian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis proiect is consistentwith the North CarolinaCoastal Management Program.

Dear Brad:
As per our conversation, I met on the propeny with Mr. Dykstra and informed him that I am the
new owner. I further told him we would be re-surfacing the existing dock. He seemed to have no
objection to anything, and was glad that I was going to remove the huge dead pines that were next
to his properry. I told him that he would receive the notification by Certified Mail. I also called
wiimington and spoke with the iaw firm that represents the LLC for Bay Colony Holdings, the
owner of the other property to my east. I spoke with Kayla Jewel and she said just send it to them.
I hope to take advantage ofa crew working on my neighbors dock to do the work in the next couple
of weeks while winds are out of the south. Once northerly winds start it can be very challenging.
